I can definitely see why someone would want to get these machines. They look great. Someone needs to save them. Here's the pics and info for them. CLICK HERE TO GO TO washdaddy's LINK on Mansfield Craigslist |

Any other time but now we would be on a road trip..Donald is going to have to spend some money on his truck and we are shorthanded at work, or I would drop everything and go..I just don't want them to go to the scrapyard. |

.
if this washer could be converted and brought up to He standards? Looks a little on the heavy side too. Maybe remove all the chrome, glass and superfluous decoration, and get some plastic knobs, electronic circuitry and modern light weight plastic. The pink is dated, cover it in Biscuit. And if it's a "laundromat" it needs a coin box stuck on there too. Basket-case really.. |

LOL!
Seems like somebody has been watching too many '80s home improvement shows!
Regarding how much it weighs, I'll bet it's even heavier than the '63 Nate and I moved to his new house. We've had amazing success in the past with those arm straps, but not on the '63. It wouldn't budge. It ended up on an appliance hand truck, and it was a bitch to get up the ramp into the U-Haul. |
