My family have a few indesit appliances even me my hob but washing machines we have 3 in the family and I can tell you the build quality is shocking . so on Wednesday I went round to my nan and I put her indesit iwc6125 washer and when it had done the first rinse on cotton 60 it had a shakey spin it slowed down and just went straight to the end with 2 rinses and final spin left so I turned it to rinse and the machine was lifeless the end light just stayed illuminated I turned it off and back on and put on a spin it filled with water stayed still and then ramped up to 1200 and then flashed a series of lights the repair man came and the spin had taken one of the wires off he put it back in and it did everything normally until this weekend when bang boom it went on its final spin I rushed in to see the door hanging open and clothes on the floor shredded I looked inside the drum had a big hole in it and knobs on the washer had come off and the drawer nan had a metal bracket on the top of the drum because after watching watchdog in may she was frightened it would happen . sadly the washer was dead she has orderd a Bosch classix 6kg 1400 from currys

The Classixx is an excellent machine, my dad has had his 1200 version since December and it's been brilliant, great value, great build quality, quiet and has loads of programmes!

I doubt she'll be disappointed. 😊

My Beko broke down in June 2014, so i bought a reconditioned Bosch Classixx 1000 but mine is the older model with the square buttons :) its not the express model so it has long wash cycles instead of the short cycles as standard.

Its an excellent machine, I always use reduced time and rinse plus together as it cuts the cycle time to about an hour 1:20 for a cotton 60 degree wash and 1 hour for a cotton 40 degree wash.

Much better than the Beko WM5120 I had before which broke down after 4 years.

Hope your nan is happy with her purchase :)
