Bad weather and a sick child sent our laundry to the big leagues.
We filled this 40lb machine to capacity. No problem because his 55lb capacity
brother was ready and able right out of frame of these pics.

Don't let the,"4.25" fool ya, thats what was still owed when I snapped the pic.
$7.75 is the going rate for the options I selected.

These Wascomats seem to be the best machines I've used in a commercial laundry setting.
The major problem here in the depths of our NYC winter..is that unless the place is jammin' and everybody is washing on "hot" the low water capacity and large pipe diameter feeding the machine
make anything but a room temp wash impossible. And even that is a best case outcome. Lukecold is more like it.

the video (I will add later) was taken in the early part of the, "prewash rinse" cycle so the cloths are not settled in yet.
They should end up 3/4 of the way up the window of the machine during the extended wash cycle I have selected.

The electric service to our apartment is rated at only 12 amps so having our own machines is out of the question even if we could find the space or manage the plumbing. Being impatient New York City folk
piling all the clothes into one load is the preferred method. The results are satisfactory but definitely not wowing..

The guy from the hot yoga place massively over-loads both the 55lb machines every morning. I was too late to catch his act..it's really something to see as he carts the stuff (about 1 mile total round trip) through the city with the laundry bags piled over his head. No Laundromats near Broadway any more I guess.

took all night to upload even this.
The Wascomats are solid, quiet, and an ascetically well designed product.
Also, I never see one out of service at our laundromat.
