Nice looking machines. What are the two buttons on the left side of the washer console for?

I think they are for the suds saver

Not suds-saver on this model. This model (A810) was never offered as a suds saver.

On this model the top button reads "Timed soak and Wash" and the bottom reads "Timed soak only".

I came VERY close to sending the seller an e-mail to inquire about these.   The reason I didn't (so far) is, while I do like Maytag, I really do not need another washer & 220V dryer.   If the dryer were gas however, that might be different.

Kevin, TOL, ultimate flexibility.  Electronic control dry, not all that common back then.

Not so fast... This machine has the 1.5 minute timer increment... While the spray rinse is quite long, the 1.5 minute deep rinse is near useless on large and extra-large loads...

After a 90 second spray rinse, do you need a deep rinse??? LOL
