I have a classic supreme insinkerator automatic dishwasher. It has always worked beautifully until yesterday. When I started it it started it, it started leaking from the side of the door. how can I fix this and/or why is this happening?

Also if I'm lucky enough to get this fixed I would like to find out where to buy a stainless steel panel for it

Thank you

Can you be more specific about where the leak is located?  Have you noticed too much water in the tub?

Stainless panel sets are often listed on ebay.  You'll need to search for KitchenAid panels to find them.  The size that fits yours is the same that fits KitchenAid series 20 through 23, such as KA model KD20, KD21, etc.

I had an ISE Classic Supreme for a while.  They're nice looking KitchenAid clones, even without the stainless panels.

Loose screws?

Look for loose screws on the brackets that hold the DW to the counter top. If the screw backs out of position it can keep the door from closing fully. I have repaired this problem many times on KA built DW's. Jeff

Here's a link to a thread explaining one possible cause of the leak:

Stainless Panels

The part number you're looking for is B-241677.  They do pop up on eBay from time to time.  If you set up a followed search for that part you can get an email when a set comes available.  Also, some people have had them cut out of a piece of stainless but I don't know the exact dimensions.  Maybe someone else does and can post them here.

Good Luck.  That's a nice looking machine.
