Samsung has done it again...a washer designed specifically for washing babies clothes.....offers up to 5 rinses and sanitizes as well.....

I thought it was a joke when I seen it, figuring it was just another portable with an impellor.....

but the target audience is for infants, so you know it will most likely sell.....and in a year or two, find them on CL....

this model in platinum is around 599.00

there are instructions and supplies to hook it up, or rather, tapping off with your existing machine for fill and drain lines....or hooks to a sink...

194F sanitize option....that's close to a boil wash.....you can't get that out of a regular machine with a heater...

Yes, But the one downfall to this little boiler washing wonder is it's size. It only has a .9 CF tub. I'll admit that it does have some nice features that would be sweet in a full size machine but it's capacity is a drawback especially when you have to fork out that much money ($599) in order to buy it.

Another drawback is that the machine has 2 lids to the tub. So there isn't any chance of watching your forget-me-nots (lol) going round and round while the machine does its thing. You know that inquiring minds would want to know. {LOL}

It's a cute little washer! Its external dimensions are similar to a Euro h-axis (reasonably common here in Spain, pretty uncommon in the UK) but its capacity is the smallest I have ever seen. I downloaded the manual but I couldn't see any table showing the cycles' water consumption, energy consumption or cycle time etc.

I have a question for you guys....
What is the cheapest washer available in North America that can do a "boil" wash? And are there many to choose from?

I just quickly looked online and I can get a cheap washer in Spain and the UK for around US$200 or a bit less. Obviously these can all do a boil wash, so it's easy to just look online for the cheapest. But it's difficult for me to find out this information for the USA/Canada because although I can easily see the cheapest machines offered by US stores, I can't see what their maximum temperatures are for the ones that heat. They are often stated as "sanitize", "whitest whites" etc.
