pedestals. That poor woman bending. Nice looking machines but I can't help but wonder if the tub is plastic or stainless steel. |

They really look interesting. The non-eco 60°C is done in 70 minutes on hot connection, 12 more on cold only. One can set the time for the final spin (up to 6 minutes on the short cottons cycles, up to 9 on the Eco cycles), as well as pre-rinses, pre-wash, extra rinse and softner on\off. If anyone got priceing, please post it! |

Just found it myself. 1600€ for both washer versions ( drain pump or valve) and 1150€ for the dryer. |

You have to go on the UK website linked in the original post, than klick "I am already a owner", scroll down until you see "Documantation". Than you have to enter your E-Mail and they'll sent you the download links. But you only get the manuals over the english website, the german site does not send you the manual links. |

They are pretty much the same base as the AEG ProTex midline, with a general upgrade on durability as far as I understand. |

I've always been impressed with Electrolux. It will be interesting to see what comes out of Appliance Park, KY after the purchase is complete.

mypro.electrolux.com... scroll down and change the configuration from drain valve to drain pump and it shows the outer tub being plastic.

Malcolm, I completely agree with you. That's why I couldn't understand why they would release a video showing all of the water being poured onto the floor… I still don't see the purpose in that. |

....With plastic sealed drums, little drain pumps and flimsy plastics. The Generation 5000, and previous gen 4000 and 3000 are far sturdier and proper commercial machines, with proper suspention not hung tubs and plastic shock absorbers, have multiple elements and have a proper stainless steel outer tub, as well as proper dump valves.
And if they were meant to be commercial, the door hinge would be on the right, not the left like a domestic F / L. Chris. |
