This popped up on the local Los Angeles craigslist...600 bucks doesn't seem bad, not for a turquoise one....anyway, i don't have room for it, somebody buy it, please!

I think this has been for sale for a while...  I guess the washer/dryer combo and the original dishwasher are long gone.  I don't know what they did with the old dishwasher front, though.  They could have made it into some kind of storage unit, but it's difficult to tell.    Interesting that they still have the end panel for the side where the range goes.  I'd love to get that for mine, but I'm not really in the market for an entire Kitchen Center!!

Thank goodness that's not local or I'd be trying to figure out what to do with it about now!

This kitchen center has been posted before. I remember the that DW that's in the space where the combo is supposed to go.

Someone else also mentioned that you could possibly order this w/o the combo IIRC.

Rick , you are correct.  The Kitchen Center came in a number of 'configurations' over its 5-year lifespan.  I have some nifty literature that I got from Lawrence (now in Alabama) and there were versions with and without the washer/dryer, disposall, and even the dishwasher!  I guess it helped that GE also manufactured a line of kitchen cabinets so they could swap cabinets and appliances fairly easily.
