Hello to all aw members,

If for X reason i had to buy a used refurbish washer i would dry to locate a harvest gold 1976 canadien kenmore washer with a gold rotoswirl agitator with liquid fabric softner dispenser if stores on the south shore of montreal still sell these of course model like in the picture but harvest gold like seen on the kenmore picture of the day listed on the site sometime because i think that dumb down water temp or all cold rinse is not helping at all wash and rinse tempatures i feel that are pretty much needed

cold cold wash rinses: for very gentle items wool ect

warm warm wash rinse temp: rags and laminated floor mop

Warm cold wash rinse perm press fabrics and soaking all night

hot cold temp for normal bedding when not sick

Hot warm wash rinse for bedding when sick or allergys sure modern washers re great but if i compare my 2004 duet i can say it do not clean much and rinse is poor witch sometime force me to redo a full cycle just to make sure the wrm water removes all suds before letting it finish with a cold rinse. other aw members are welcome to share there dream vintage washers they would love to own in my thread

Hey Pierre, those are nice looking Kenmores indeed. These are Canadian models right? I assume that is where the quirky styling comes from. Anyone got any pictures of these machines in real life?

Pierre, I saw a plastic console Kenmore washer like this paired with an Inglis Superb dryer from the early 1970s in Cap De La Madeleine where I got my Inglis dishwasher last week. It's probably still available. Let me know if you want it!

I always liked those plastic console Kenmores!   I've managed to resist so far (guess who had a comment or two about me getting one??).   I guess I'll try and hold out for an avocado one...  LOL
