I’m the culprit who really wants this model in yellow. Oddly enough, I prefer doors without windows, although that wouldn’t stop me from buying this one.
My greater concern is that I wish this particular unit were in better cosmetic condition. There are a few more pictures posted now than what I saw earlier, and they show some real problems. I can deal with a broken clock, and I’m pretty sure I could get that oven to work. And I can deal with a few nicks, too. But rusty surfaces don’t have an easy fix, and I think that’s what I see.
I’ve sent a few questions to the seller. I’ll post back when I hear something.

That's a lovely range! I would urge you to go for it, they don't come around every day, that's for sure. Of course, based on what the seller says. I don't see what looks to be any rust isuses in those photos; I bet it's probably kitchen grease more than anything. When Robert and I brought home and went through our pink 56 GE range, we probably removed 10 lbs of grease from the poor thing. Lots of scrubbing and elbow grease went in to getting it clean. I'm sure with some TLC, this range would absolutely shine.

That looks really nice to me, and I didn't notice anything that looked like rust. If there is any on the interior, you could get an easier to find White one that has good insides, and switch out the parts.
You should get this - its only a few hours up I-75 from you.

I’m in contact with the seller and hopefully I’ll be getting this unit shortly. It isn’t an ideal specimen, I have to say. But I think my standards might be too high after my great luck with the RT-38 (in Sherwood Green) that I bought last year. That one is in phenomenal cosmetic condition—not perfect, but way, way above average.

We went to pick up this unit last Saturday. It’s in the basement right now, and unfortunately it will probably be stuck there for a while. But it looks really fantastic, and I’m so glad we went to get it.
The fellow selling it was a really great guy. We talked a bit about vintage appliances, and he helped us get everything onto the truck. This is the third time I’ve had a great experience on a one of these crazy Frigidaire trips!
We even got a mini-vacation to Kentucky out of it. I haven’t been through that part of the country in a really long time. On the way home, we stopped at the original KFC. I remember eating there when I was a kid, on trips from Virginia to see my great-aunt in Bowling Green. We had a great time, especially since KFC is about the only fast food we actually like.
I’ve attached a few pictures. In the first one, I set it up like the old ads, with the salt and pepper shaker only. In the second picture, I lined up all the shakers that I have—which is maybe all they made. I’m not sure. The third one is a closeup of the clock.
This one needs more work that the other units I’ve bought, but it’s not too bad overall. Thanks, everyone, for encouraging me to go ahead and get this one.
Bake about as good as anything ever made, that small outer coil on the broil element that heats with the bake units makes all the difference, much better than newer ranges that use half voltage thru the entire broil unit.

Yes, it’s all porcelain, and most of it looks really good. But the door with the window has some significant dings with some unfortunate “repairs”. There is no rust, though, which I thought I saw in one of the Craigslist pictures.
The non-working right oven is a problem. I think it’s the Cookmaster timer, which is a common culprit with these. But no amount fiddling with the dials is fixing the problem, which means I need to open it up and work directly on the wires.
I’ve been spoiled with my other purchases; none of the clocks work, but everything else does.
