You were close toploader55, VERY close if it were a KDS-18.
Included with the KitchenAid 18 Series Owners Manual I purchased was a chart entitled "Top of the Line Dishwasher Comparison (Based on Information Available 5/1/79)". The last row of that chart is the "approximate net weights (lb) (No Panels)" of the dishwashers compared, and the KDS-18 weighs in at 123 lbs, with the comment "HEAVIEST IN INDUSTRY". The butcher block top of the 58 would add some weight to that number though. |
