Rare 1957 Philco Automatic Refrigerator - $250 (Delafield)
Killer late '50s fridge for your MCM midcentury modern world. Basically, it kicks butt and it needs a good home. Works great and runs quietly.
This was my primary fridge for years and has been in climate controlled storage since '09. Exterior color is white. Interior is white and pink. Metal shelves are anodized pink and one slides out. The shelves and drawer are in great shape and the glass light diffuser and shelf above the drawer are both original, featuring the diamond texture pattern. Exterior paint is pretty rough but it could easily be sanded down and resprayed for an as-new appearance. (model Tip Toematic -- White) Up For Sale is a Vintage Sears-Kenmore Iron Mangle Presser Machine (Model Tip ToeMatic). I am not sure of the Manufacturing Date, but they were made in the 1950's & early '60's. Overall it is in great shape cosmetically. Shows normal wear. No dings or dents. Although we are not making any guarantees as to working condition (since we are not Mangle Iron Techs!), as of this posting the motor and light work, the barrel turns, the press operates, and it does heat up. This beautiful, retro, vintage, chocolate brown, original Maytag washer dryer set will take you right back to the middle of the 20th century! Vintage Hoover Washing Machine -- Partially Works - $25
Vintage Hoover Clothes Washing Machine. It does the wash cycle on the one side but it does not spin and drain on the other side. I think it needs a new drain pump / motor, but I am unsure. Needs to be washed up some. Sold as is for parts or repair. The inside is stainless steel. There is some water and a leaf on one side that I cleaned out after the photo was taken.

One large burner works perfectly, other larger burner works good to fair, the two small burners with original coils don't work so great and are slow to heat up - some settings don't seem to work. 84" white vintage/retro/MCM "Youngstown Kitchens" metal pantry utility cabinet - 4 doors outside measurements are 84" tall x 21" wide x 13" deep - the top doors are approximately 29 3/4" and the bottom doors are approximately 50" with a black 4" base - the top has 2 shelves plus the bottom and the bottom section has 3 shelves plus the bottom - tag on inside of the door reads "Youngstown Kitchens Mullins by Mullins" "Mullins Manufacturing Co., Warren, Ohio" "Serial #C141910 - has the original cabinet pulls and all other hardware is original - it does have holes for mounting securely to the wall - the cabinet needs a good cleaning (washing) but other than that is in excellent condition.

When we bought our home in Lake Bluff, IL from the original builder/owner of our early 1950's house, it also came with the original 1950's Admiral Dual-Temp Combination Refrigerator-Freezer. It was Mrs. Glader's pride and joy, which she lovingly cared for it's over 50 years of use. The refrigerator even came with the brochure, shown in the photos. Though it was still working, we replaced it with a more modern one and the Admiral went into the garage and later moved with us to Danville, CA, where our son had it in his bedroom for storge and later moved back to our garage.
It's come time to part with this classic so that it might go to a home where it could be treasured as Mrs. Glader had for so many years. It's in very good condition and would make an excellent addition to a home or business that appreciates a retro-classic. Why not frame the brochure and feature it next to the Admiral Dual-Temp. There is also a TV commercial on the Admiral Dual-Temp that you can save and show to your friends, and plenty of ads on Ebay that you can pick up to use along with this. We could offer and sell this on Ebay for between $750 - $1,000, given it's condition and history, but for the convenience of you picking it up at our house to a good home, we are willing to part with it for $500 OBO.
