@ Penkeraage Bagwash and just debating which to use, AEG 1800rpm spinning away so opted for the Hoover Dynamic 11kg washer or as we prefer to call it the "Hoover Bling", it has a vast 11kg drum, just loaded 8kg of cotton darks with Stain Blaster option, 60d temperature profile wash from cold and superfast 1400rpm spin.
Using a scooped of Calgon for the hard water here and 120mls of Ariel. all done in 2 hr .1 minute using 65ltrs of water for wash & 3 rinses etc. Cant fault this washer, best drying performance ever, can't even get any more water out of towels when spun in the Frigidaire spinner whizzing @ 2,800rpm. The digital displays tells me the weight and detergent amount to use and shows selected wash temp and spin speed which can be over ridden, the Stain Blaster option maintains the wash temp throughout the wash cycle and adjusts the drum rhythm speed for max wash efficiency without extending the wash time. The Dynamic also uses the 8 Pulse Technology using spray jets to spray concentrated wash solution into the load at the beginning of the wash and also during the rinsing phase which allows flushing of any soap residues.

Oh , Lord Pasty ya gonna get slapped for that comment, it wasnt Kays it was a Grattan Catalogue Special with added Green Shield Stamps, a 20yr warranty and then they gave me all the money back by mistake!!
Morning Brent, although Hoover is now from the Candy Italia stable they are still great washing machines, this Johns in Birmingham not mine, I get to use them all when visiting, its a pity you dont get some of these washers to compare with what you have , although they only do work well on concrete solid floors which we almost exclusively have here!!

I am surprised Lord Pasty has time to chat on here, with those small capacity matches he has & non-branded soap powder he uses (cheapskate) must take ages to get the laundry clean !!!
Don't think he's that worried about the "clean" more emphasis on the "CHEAP" Lol To all you guys across the pond, these super energy efficient large capacity machines we have here are great Have met Jon at Mikes many years ago. It would be nice to see some of you guys again John x |

Mike I thought Jon got turned down on account of his shop lifting record. Ere John whilst you are down that foodbank see if they can get you a bit of old carpet, I hear your place hasn't got a shred in it. John you have 5 machines now? are you taking in laundry again Jetcone Hello Jon, Mike does all his back combing in front of the Bling machine whilst on the 1200 spin, it blurs the lines on his face, the more unbalanced the load the better Right I have sed me peeces we will hear no more about it. They appear to be the ones from Sainsburys, a big supermarket over here in the UK. They are 'Rose Petal and Peony' scent.

Hi Christian, yes as Jacob says they are the Rose Petal & Peony scented liquitabs, Sainsburys own brand, I wouldnt have purchased them because I prefer to use powder and the scents are usually quite sickly I find like all the bubblegum flavoured conditioners....However I must say was very surprised with these, the scent was light and not overpowering. I used them to wash some fleeces and a lightweight jacket and all came out fresh and clean..

Thats how it should be, I cant believe its more eco efficient to produce and transport all those different liquids, liquitabs and gels as opposed to compact concentrated powders than can be dosed accordingly to load and soiling and will dissolve to start work quickly!!
I would much rather see less of all these products and simplified powders, I used the Australian Concentrated DRIVE powder that Matt brought over and it worked great in this load!! |
