they go into the corners (held in place with clips) to create a seal when the door shuts I guess , here is a picture of the left one still in place.

These were there to stop lower corner door leaks, not all KA DWs had them, we always carried then on our truck and would add them to machines that wanted to leak in this area. I would imagine that you could cut some good rubber foam or closed cell type material and glue it in place to stop this leak. It may take a little experimenting to get it to work, if you take off the complete outer upper door panel assembly you should see a SS clip that held these corner gaskets in place, you should be able to reuse the SS clips to help hold new gaskets in place. |
