Hi guys, my dishwasher is leaking/droplets of water during the "wash" on the right bottom corner. The doors right corner baffle is badly worn and has holes, I would like to replace it but cant seem to find a baffle thats identical or even close to the same shape. Anyone know where I can get a replacement or one very close ?

Thanks

they go into the corners (held in place with clips) to create a seal when the door shuts I guess , here is a picture of the left one still in place.

Nice looking machine

What about the two tabs on the front corners of the lower rack?  What kind of shape are they in?  Their purpose is to deflect spray away from those leak-prone spots.

they look very good , the seal for the doors frame looks great also. I'm pretty sure its the baffle with it been so diformed and a huge hole in it. I'll check any other suggestions though if you guys have any. I'm guessing they dont make replacement baffles like that anyomre, I'll probably just buy the newer style baffles and cut it to size if they are still rubber instead of plastic.

Any chance its just over sudsing? Or is there significant water coming out?? I switched detergents a while back and along with the rinse additive I was using I got some leakage from the frothing. Open the door while its leaking and check for foam.

I wish that was the case unforuntaely I tried cycles with just water with same results.

KA DW LOWER CORNER GASKETS

combo52's profile picture

These were there to stop lower corner door leaks, not all KA DWs had them, we always carried then on our truck and would add them to machines that wanted to leak in this area. I would imagine that you could cut some good rubber foam or closed cell type material and glue it in place to stop this leak. It may take a little experimenting to get it to work, if you take off the complete outer upper door panel assembly you should see a SS clip that held these corner gaskets in place, you should be able to reuse the SS clips to help hold new gaskets in place.

Parting one out!

Burnman,
What side is it? I will be glad to send you a used corner seal. The manual describes their replacement. Looks like a pain in the neck.
