Its one of the new models. I saw it first in one of the ads one week and went to the website for more info, but it wasn't available.

This was my second choice when I got my new washer! I thought it would be a good compromise between HE/Regular since you can use it both ways. It's basically the most advanced Hydrowave you can get. Looks like it's a good machine. CR gave it very good reviews.

I have an older hydrowave that has the same setup, but with different controls. It is a good washer that gets everything clean.
Pros
Quiet during wash
Lots of cycles to choose from
Hot water is mostly hot* 2013 washer this might have changed by now
Uses less water in all cycles, water bill savings
Long spin gets a lot of water out of the load/ saves about 15min in dryer
Cons
Wash cycles are a little longer- 45 to 55 min
Kind of loud during spin/drain

My Brother & his wife have this model, they bought it a couple years ago, they love it. Home Depot has it on sale till 06/05/15 for $629.00 online.

This looked like what I would want in a new washer until I read the owners manual that outlines the monthly cleaning procedure. I can see me running the clean cycle and then forgetting and throwing in a load of dark colors only to be surprised by the results!

I am still really attracted to the idea of this machine...

I saw the step down from this unit at Menards the other day... .. IDK something is just drawing me to the unit above...

But, with me raising the water level in my Profile and using the handwash cycle to wash my linens, lint/hair isn't as much of an issue as it was.

Someday I'll find one, maybe.

if that thing has the same transmission as my sister's former washer, it won't hold up very long. It leaked oil SOOOOOOO bad!

These machines are Hydrowaves. They don't have transmissions.

ahh, ok. I haven't dug that deep into a GE since my sister's fiasco with hers. It just may be a good machine after all!

I think a common issue when they came out was the support bar sagging. I saw a video of it where a piece of metal was scraping on the bottom of the unit and making a squeak noise. But I believe they fixed that. When I got mine, I was told they were actually good machines because of their simplicity in mechanics. Just a belt driven motor and pump for the most part. Not much to go wrong. I seriously considered this machine when I got my Kenmore 28102. I loved my BOL Hydrowave and this one is TOL plus HE capabilities so I'm sure it makes for an excellent washer.
