I was interested to see this listing on ebay. Seems this seller has had at least one or two WP belt-drives, and thinks their parts are of extraordinary value. I am not here to poke extreme fun at the seller for being out of his mind, but simply found the whole listing interesting and a bit amusing.

I've never seen a listing quite like this before, but the seller has a number of parts from the plastic air dome, to the motor and gearcase available from recent part-outs. Pics show a 1978 LFA machine, and a 1980 LHA model, so its hard to say exactly which machine these came from.

The part number listed for the pump is incorrect, I didn't review any others.

I was astonished at his price for the gearcase, at $450. When looking closely at pictures and reading the seller's descriptions, the gearcase includes many new parts including a whole new basket drive, which I would sell separately if I were the seller, but that at least adds some value to the $450, but nowhere near enough. It does have a new agitator shaft, which is good.

Seller wants $150 for a standard capacity basket. Of the parts he has listed, many can be found at this price new, or NOS.

In case anyone is interested in this gearcase, the corner at the end of the spin cam bar (in the lower right of one of the pictures) seems to give away the gearcase's condition before it was cleaned-up. Looks like there may have been long-term water in the centerpost or gearcase, or both, so there's no telling what condition the internals are in now.

Anyway, its an interesting listing and a fun read, so I wanted to share. Click the seller's other listings button, and you'll see his other item in which he wants $200-something for the top and console. From what I can tell, the top looks to be painted not porcelain coated, but the lid is porcelain.
