" Brand new in boxes, albeit 30 years old. This was for a house that never got built and have been in storage all these years. We have 30" Litton oven (avocado/black) with matching microwave in black finish, and KitchenAid Hobart dishwasher (avocado). None of this kitchen suite has ever been used. See pictures and other listing "

There is nothing like getting a vintage appliance that is NEW, but unfortunately there is no water heater in the 18s except for the KDS-18s, Kitchenaid like several other companies like GE and MT made top cleaning performance a step-up feature, the KDS-18s with their water heater element and extra rinse really do make for a better performing DW.
The good thing about the mid and bottom of the line KD 15-17 DWs is that they did tend to last longer [ based on our experience of working on THOUSANDS of these DWs ] than the TOL S models, pump seals, racks etc all lasted longer because the cleaning was not as aggressive and complete, there is always a trade-off. |
