Hi there

I havent posted here in ages, so I thought I might show you my wash-house and appliances. I've built my collection up over the years and so I ended up swapping sheds with my parents (I have their old summerhouse) to house all my machines. The good thing about it is that all the machines are plumbed in, plugged in and working on one mains supply, so there is no hoses to trail in and out the door like the old shed. When I first set up in there I was moving stuff around every weekend, but it's stayed like this for a few months, and it works this way nicely. Everything slots in to place and has a home now, and the added Facebay bargain of worktop gives the shed a different feel totally! Pictures of the set up can be found below.

Recently I picked up a Hoover 3022 Dryer De Luxe for a grand sum of 99p! It works fine, a little rusty but apart from that it's actually a really neat, powerful and reliable machine. When I got it I didn't take the panels off to de fluff it, I might do that tomorrow thinking about it. Earlier in the year I picked up a Servis Quartz 6033 for free that was on Gumtree, that too worked fine and is in a very good cosmetic condition. It works fine, motor sounds scratchy but other than that it's good. The other weekend I changed the motor in my Servis Quartz MK601, and so I can now say that everything in my collection works, which is a first for many, many years!! A full list of everything in my collection can be found on my profile, a few machines might need updating.

Anyway, here are some pics. Please comment!

Chris

Sorry about the picture size...they were taken on my iPhone and I've no idea how to resize them. I'm struggling to get how to use the phone properly still!

Final picture, RHS. 3022 on top of the Logic.

Enjoy

Chris

Nice collection. Love how you can stack the dryers on top of the washers for maximum washing and drying fun! Thank you for sharing.

Dryer - top row, r/h side ...

What's the dryer on the top row, r/h side of the room.

It looks like the first dryer my mother had back in the late 60's. It was badged as "New World" here in Australia. I can't remember where it was made though.
