If a Frigidaire 1-18 dryer is heating but not turning the drum, what does that mean? hard or easy to fix? | ||

Sounds like a belt issue to me...can you hear the motor running? It's easy to see if it's the belt just by taking the back panel off. A very gracious member of this site just helped me locate a replacement belt for my 1-18 dryer (in addition to finding a replacement element!). I'm assuming the part number he gave me would probably work for you as well. Mine 1-18 set is from 1976.

do you have the parts numbers ? for the belt and the heating element you replaced | ||
