Hi all guys, I present my washer indesit WIE 107. My washer was purchased 7 years ago in 2007. And after 7 years it began to leak, the reason was the door seal. After replacing the door seal, the machine worked for another 4 months and after that buzzed the bearings in the drum. Unfortunately, my model is not collapsible drum and the cost of a new 200 euros, will to cut it the drum.
With regard to the dignity and disadvantages:
Dignity:
1.Good washing.
2.There are a display.
3.1000 revolutions a minute.
4.There are programs for quick washing and sports clothes, namely TimeForYou and Sport.

Disadvantages:
1.Noisy
2.Vibration

That's done well for 7 years. My friend has a 7 year old Indesit WIB111 but hers is still going strong. The only thing I dislike about these machines is the vibration and they don't automatically adjust the water levels according to load size so use a lot of water even when washing half loads. But they do wash really well.

You have done well to get seven years from your machine. My brother has an Indesit but he's single and it gets very light use. Personally I would replace the whole machine as other things may be on the way out as well.

My sister has an Indesit WIB111 also, hers is 8 years old and has washed for a family if 5 and latterly a family of 8 and is still going strong. The only repair ever needed was a new door as it got broken in a house move.

Were these Indesit's even around in 2004? I'm pretty certain that these are post-Hotpoint takeover machines which didn't happen until 2005. I remember them being sold alongside the WF's. Pretty sure that the Evolutions were still around in 04.

I know I bought this style of Indesit vented dryer in 2005 around May time after I got pissed off with the weather and only having a 1000 spin Hotpoint WF000 bought a month or so before.

I was ok with the 100 spin Zanussi quick n clean I had before as it spun so much better than the HPT hence the dryer being bought.

Yes, they were available in 2004. I have a 2004 Argos Catalogue that show's the 1400 spin version of this model, as well as the respected driers and the first Hotpoint WFF/WT series.

So what was the final outcome? Did you replace the machine when the bearings were going out or repair it?
