I have recently bought a zanussi FL811 and I happened to notice a bit of play in the drum .... I can move the drum backwards n forwards a bit. When spinning the drum it's all seems fine. Is this normal for this machine or should I be replacing the bearing?

If some one could advice me in this that would be great

Lamont

I had an FL1021 (I think that was the model number) which was a 1000spin version of what you have. The drum will have a little forward and backwards movement. As long as there is no rumbling or grinding when the drum turns I would think that there is nothing to worry about.
Fantastic machines, very quiet and work well :-)

Hi, I have the same issue on my FL812, but it's still quiet and doesn't leak.
