My 7 year old washingmachine are giving me problems so I can not use it.
I started to notice that it keeped on saying to much detergent alot but after checking doseing tabels on the detergents I now know that It is notto much.
The machine starts to pump out the washwater and stops when its all out but them it starts to spin before the first rince but the pump never starts again. After awhile it goes ahead and fills with rince water still haveing washwater in the machine.
this is repeted with all the rinces and the final spin. So when the wash is ready the display tells me to much detergent. During the final spin you can se foaming while the machine tries to spin out the water but its going nowere.
I think I have read here somewhere that this machine needs an update of its software but I cant find who wrote that. Does anyone know if this is the problem?
Please get back to me.

there are no blockages anywhere. The machine is clean and descaled. The pump works fine with draining until the spin is going to start, then it stops and does not come on until next drain gonna start after next rince.
I did read here someone that had the same problem that needed a update of the software

In regards to software updates, I know there is one for foam escaping out of the dispenser drawer for some models.
There are updates also for crease reduction on some models and additional programs (again for some models)
I know the technicians can calibrate the pressure sensor (zero it out)
After the water has drained, it spins and any excess water should be pumped away. It sounds like the machine has not registered any change in water level and this may be due to "hardware"(hoses being blocked), electrical (PCB faulty or pump faulty) or software.
My bet would be the hose blockage idea. That is because it would be the most likely thing to happen.
Some of the Miele documentation leaked onto the internet refer to hose blockages in relation to excess detergent/ excess foam.
well I found the thread I was looking for that were talking about the same problem I HAD !
This time read it really well and found out that for the pump to be able to pump out water it needs air.
and that there are a airhoze to the pump and one of the people responding to this thread had this problem.
I was not avare there were such a hoze, so I took the bull by the horns so to say and started to dismantel the washer. I have taken an older miele washer apart but not the new models so there were trial and error to find out how to go about it.
After taking the top, front and left side off I found the hoze, and it was blocked, I dont get how so much dirt can get into that tiny hole in the pump housing and up this hoze. After cleaning it and putting the machine back together I ran a wash and was watching the machine the hole time and when it came to the first drain and spin my heart sank because the pump stopped after the first drain before the spin but when the spin picked up speen the pump turned on again and drain out the water spinning out, jippie the machine is fixed and I have now called Miele and canceled the apointment.
thanks for the help in pointing me in the right direction.
all the best Björn
