RP2813 is well stocked with ISE's, so here's another chance before Ralph considers finding room for another(?). :-)

No worries.  If anything, I'm considering unloading my ISE (two working Classic Supremes) and KA (one Superba 21 with issues) machines.  After my experience with the Miele, there's absolutely no contest except in the area of speed in getting the job done.  The results from the Miele are well worth the wait, however.

I'm on the hunt for a stainless KA version of an Ultra Wash machine as a spare, but the others will have to be re-homed if I find one.

Phil, that may be something like it.  I'm still not entirely up to speed on Ultra Wash models and which ones are best (from a certain period, etc.) but I believe they date back as far as what would be considered the 24 series KA machines.

Stainless on the exterior is more important than on the interior.  I'd prefer a KA version since it would better coordinate with the KA refrigerator I have.

Again, this would be a back-up machine should the Miele require a prohibitively expensive repair somewhere down the line.

Ralph, the KA24 & 25 series may have had a stainless panel option, but the big fat control panel is always at the top of the door.

Ralph, the dishwasher in the picture is a KDS25 in Mr. Jetcone's house.
