I work in a store selling appliance parts. Sometimes my customers need timers which are NLA. For electronic controls, I send them to rebuilding services like Corecentric Solutions or Fixyourboard.com. Some service technicians are asking for a similar service for mechanical timers.

I know this has been asked before, but what are the current companies offering mechanical timer rebuilding services?

Bump

As far as I know no one is doing this service anymore, but thought I would bump this up in case someone has found something. Anyone?

Companies in Canada

This may be an old thread but I still get asked frequently.

There are several companies that still repair mechanical appliance timers, at least in Ontario Canada. If you're sending them from the US, there's the bonus of the discounted Canadian dollar.

One is Macro Point Ltd. in Cambridge, ON the parent company of ApplianceTimers.com

Another is Turners Timer Repair in Scarborough, near Toronto.

The one I've used the most is J R Controls in Cambridge, ON (possibly retired by 2021)

Turner's Timer Repair

I've had three timers (two dryer, one washer) rebuilt by Turner's in Scarborough over the past two years - they do excellent work.  I would not be shy to recommend them!
