Hi I've asked for help on here previously and its gained me my hoover electron which I'm still over the moon with so now that I've found a few more little gems I'd thought I'd ask again, I have found two late 70s washers in Nottingham (I'm keeping their models hidden for now). They are too far away for me to collect so can anyone give me a helping hand and collect them if I pay your transport costs etc?

Thanks and would be mega greatfull if anybody can help
Luke :)

Hi Luke,

It's very difficult finding someone to collect machines, especially when most of the people here have work and other commitments leaving them with barely any time for themselves and families. Someone may be able to help but you could be waiting any period of time to physically have the machine in your possession.

If nobody here is able to help I recommend the following website called Shiply (please click the link attached). I have had a few quotes from them in case of emergency and I must say they are probably the cheapest out there since you have expressed you are willing to pay charges. Give them a try if all else fails.

On another note, have you tried looking for machines locally? I have obtained most of my machines this way - yes it's a daunting task and it's hard to find the right contacts but the actual machines are out there (loads of Hotpoint 95 series and more). Try your local independent appliance retailers, local repairmen and you are bound to land home with something.

Regards, James

James

Hi James thanks for the link, I'm looking into it. I know asking people on here for help is a long shot but still worth a try.

As of yet I've been to very little local shops in my area, most of the ones I've been to there has been nothing over about 10 years old but then again I haven't been looking very hard lol

Thanks
