The TOL MT A906 washers are essentially the same as the dependable care washers [ the dependable care name was used on later helical drive machines ONLY ].
ALL MT TL washers from 1956-2006 that have TWO belts under the lower deck are helical drive washers, these are the more desirable machines from a dependability and repairability standpoint, HOWEVER the Amana-Speed Queen and the Norge style MTs both performed Better than the helical drive machines in most respects, they just did not last as long and were very difficult to repair when anything really went wrong with them.
