The job was well worth the effort and it just purrs now whereas it was grumbly before. I'm well chuffed to be able to use it thanks to Mathew. Now where can I get myself an A3060 or A3062 hehe! James |

Just an observation---the cooling fan on the motor appears more substantial than the dryer fan! |

Hello James
Another excellent job on an excellent dryer, they really do just purr when they are running. I am pleased you have got this one up to spec Well as you now know machines do come up from time to time :-) The Motors in these are also used in the twin tubs (I might talking crap though), but as usual with things made back then over engineering was the order of the day. Top notch work James. Fancy a 1509, before it ends up on the fire?! Although, the amount it leaks, it would keep putting the fire out! R |

And possibly the motor fan was provided by the motor builder.-It was a part of the motor when the motor was received from the motor company to put in the machine. The cast fan sort of reminds me of--Hoover cast vacuum cleaner fans! |
