Modern Maid from Tennessee Stove Works, definitely one of those brands that rattle when you walk across the floor. |

Modern Maid was not in excellent condition when brand new. Back in the 60s, if you walked into a new home and there were MM kitchen appliances instead of GE, WH or FD, the rest of the house showed other signs of cheap construction. |

Does anyone remember when GE outsourced a cooktop with a grill/griddle from Modern Maid? It was strange to see the GE badge on a cooktop that was obviously not a GE product. |
