My Maytag A612 will not run, and the motor emits a loud buzz.
Turning it off, and moving the belt by hand a few inches starts it again. Yesterday, it stopped completely.

I swapped it out with another Maytag I had on hand, and opened the case to look at it today. During the move, a few of the wires appear to have fallen off the start switch. Do I just match the wires from the washer to the start switch and then to the motor by color?

If not, can someone provide a photo of the correct wiring?

Also, what is the correct method of testing these motors?

The tag on the back of the controls reads:

Model A612
Series 02
Serial 033363 PP

Any help is very much appreciated!

Wires should be color coded. There should be a wiring diagram, if not on the front of the tub, on the inside of the console.

So I should just match the colors on both the console and motor wires?
What about the unlabeled pins?

Can someone please provide a photo of the wiring on one of these.
I found the schematic, but can't make heads or tails of it.

The switch is part # 207684

Attached is a photo of the switch.

Any help is much appreciated!
