Just purchased my first home and inherited a nonfunctional washer and dryer. I'm fairly confident this post from 2012 is the same set that I have.

I'll be purchasing a new set and paying Home Depot $30 to haul these away. Before I do, could anyone give insight into if they're worth anything? (Again, nonfunctional)

Well, it depends of the cosmetic condition and if there's a member in your area who has some interest in them. If they're clean, they might be of interest to someone, most parts for these are still fairly easy to get so unless they have rust issues, they should be fixable. They probably won't sell for much but you wouldn't have to pay to get rid of them! You might want to post pictures of them here. If there are any local members who'd like them.

I have a similar washer that's clean and functional which I paid $50 but it lacks it's matching dryer (1st picture). I have seen pairs of very similar machines for sale for less but they weren't the exact model I wanted so I passed... I also got a pair of machines that were advertised for free (pictures 2-3) and I wanted them so much that I offered $80 for them (a scrapper had already agreed to take them but the owner accepted my offer!).

Post pictures if you have a chance!

Before I paid someone to haul them away, I would see if someone here want's them, or maybe a local charity.
