Hello, my Bosch WFVC4400UC/24 has stopped working and displays a E04 error code. When I try to start a cycle, it does not fill, and the drain pump runs constantly. That's all it will do on any setting. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Here's what I've worked on so far:
- tightened door hinge and door screws
- replaced door lock mechanism with new oem part - solved prior E01 code
- checked all hoses/boots/housings/chambers for blockage - all clear
- tested drain pump continuity - functioning properly
- tested water supply valve solenoids continuity - functioning properly

Areas of concern:
- I tried testing the pressure switch continuity and the numbers were all over the place, probably because I'm not testing it correctly. It has 7 terminals that are unlabeled and all the wires that plug into it are the same color (white).
- the washer door does not shut properly, even with the new door latch installed. I have to pull the manual door release cord before slamming the door to get it to stay shut. Even then, it still seems like the door isn't shut as tightly as it should be.

I've attached a photo of the pressure switch, hopefully someone can tell me which terminals to test with the multimeter. I've also attached a copy of the wiring diagram. Thanks again for any help!

Travis

I wish I could read your wiring diagram

Do you want to email a copy to me.

I have downloaded something called bsh_major_appliances_technical_manual_bosch_2nd_edition_rev_3.pdf and it lists a wiring diagram for a WFK 2401.

The pressure switch listed for that machine seems to have 7 pins from the diagram too.
I imagine things change slowly in the washing machine world so it may apply to your machine.
Your machine doesn't have a black and read analogue pressure sensor does it? I have had problems with one of those in an Asko dishwasher... but thats another story

Thanks for your reply richnz, I really appreciate it! I would be happy to email you the wiring diagram. What's your email? I'm not sure about the black/red analog pressure sensor. I'll go check now...
