Older Norge dryer for sale in Holcombe, WI which is north of Chippewa Falls, WI.  A nice drive from the Twin Cities.  Seller is only asking $10.00.  Looks to be in pretty decent shape.

A FLOCKERATOR!

LOL, These had a spring wound timer that ticked like an alarm clock!I love to hear them run, that big fan has a sound all its own.

That big fan pushed the tumbling clothes against the door seal, abrading it over time. Finding a new one is next to impossible.

Is this one of those Norges that I could use as a hair dryer?

Yes

It is.

I will warn you that the sounds the door makes as it is forced into the position for either hair drying or unloading the dryer into a basket are very disturbing, sort of like a fender-bender and rebound without the squeal of locked tires skidding on pavement, just the sudden sound of destruction. When done in a store, the sound did bring the salesmen running, but how else is a child to learn? It was one of those things I only needed to do once.

The price is right, if someone just wanted to try it out for fun!
