Hi

I am in the process of restoring a Hoover 0307.
I have hit a hitch. For the life of me I cannot fathom how to remove the wringer assembley from the wash tub.

I don't want to use brute force and break something.

Does anyone have a repair manual, or know how to remove the wringer assembley? I need to pull it apart to do some restoration work on the rollers.

Cheers
Stephen

Hi Stephen a warm welcome to the First Hoover washing machine club, and I see you have an early model with metal pulsator. An easy machine to work on once the wringer is out, all the sides can come off from the base for painting etc...

With the wringer "In The Tub" position you undo the bolts to release it from the tub and then work on it!! Heres the instructions to aid you!!

Nearly finished

OMG!
I didn't realise how long ago I started this.
Having moved from Melbourne, with its somewhat British weather to Brisbane with its sub tropical climate, this took a back seat.

COVID-19 restrictions have given me a boost.

Cabinet has been resprayed, machine has been rewired and runs.
However, I have a persistent leak through the shaft of the pulsator.
Have you any suggestions on how to resolve this?

When finished I will post a video.

Cheers
Stephen
