This is my first full test run of the Maytag since I got it and repaired the timer.

I stuffed it into my laundry room, ran some supply hoses, ran a drain hose out to the lawn, and away we go! Two at once!

I'm developing an overall preference for one verses the other, though I appreciate some of the unique features of that other, so I'm a bit torn lol. I may have to modify the "better" one to include some of those features :0

What do you all think? Preferences? Favorite features? Undesirable characteristics?

Although I barely had anything on it at the time, the iphone ran out of memory *again*, so it got cut short, but you'll get the basic idea.

That Maytag looks alot like mine but without seeing the panel behind the lid, I dont know but all Maytags of that vintage and older are built the same other than features, like extra buttons.

LA712

Is the model. It has the warm rinse option, as well as the slow wash, fast spin option.

I ended up having to take several short films due to the iphone lol. One of them does have a good shot of the control panel though.

I'll add them as I get them uploaded.

Thanks,
Keith
