Is it the same machine as in the link below?
Subsequent models of this machine were described as "A hurricane in a box" and the wash system was pretty much the same, so I think it should perform well for you. Since it only has a single wash arm, you just need to be careful of how you place large pots, etc. so they don't block the spray to the upper level.
If you have any questions about it once you've taken ownership and have tested it out, you'll find plenty of advice here, including that from our resident Hobart/Kitchenaid SME, Steve T. CLICK HERE TO GO TO rp2813's LINK |

I have a copper-tone one of these in my kitchen as an extra machine, it has its own storage spot and even has its own hot water faucet over one of the sinks.
This DW can certainly get the job done and parts can be found as many of the mechanical parts are the same as the more popular built-in models. There are a number of unique parts and problems for the portable as well. I have had to repair any number of things on the one I have to get it into good working condition and mine is only used once a month or so as it is just so much easier to use one of the two built-in DWs.
The down falls in using this DW are loading restrictions and the ability to fit large cookware etc in it, it is also loud and hot when in use with its single wall tank. The only other real gripe is cleaning the messy filter and coarse strainer, if we use the DW just a few times the filter becomes quite messy and gets smelly if left uncleaned too long.
Hopefully it will be like many portable DWs and have been used very little. |
