You know you want it... Ad Copy: Model WWA8858MALWH S/N TF191514G The last of the good old Filter Flo models. This one is an early 90's model before they switched to the junk they make today. Upgraded only because I needed increased capacity. There is nothing wrong with this unit. All features, temps, and setting work. This model picks up water from the bottom of the tub and pumps it out the top while it agitates, therefore filtering the lint, dirt, hair out of the water. The downside is I aquired this second hand and never got the basket / filter ring as shown in the last pic. Look this thread over to show how a filter flo works: www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/T... Here is a video of someone elses working with the filter in place: $110 Pickup near RT97 & I-90 by casino. It is located at ground level. It's 3rd in line to being the last of the FF washers. I actually bought one of these new in 1991, from Best Buy. You could tell it was cheaper than say a mid 70s FF. The metal was, in general, a thinner gauge and I've seen several from this era where the motor literally fell out as the metal holding the screws, broke out. Still, its a fun toy. |
