This auction looks like quite a find.  Original parts for a top loading Youngstown dishwasher.  They claim to have had little use and look good in the pictures.  If you are restoring one of these this could be the auction for you.

It's pricey but these don't come up very often.

Caveat emptor.... The pump may look good but the bearings might be seized up solid!

I just purchased these on ebay, however I do not need the racks. If anyone is in need of the racks please contact me. Does anyone know what the round basket is for did it come with the dishwasher? Thanks John

I'm glad someone here got them.

In the auction he said the motor turned by hand but he had not tested it so it's hard to say what will happen.  I had the front loading Youngstown and I think it had the same motor and pump part on the front.  In my case that front part was seized up with what looked like some kind of white powder.  I eventually got it cleaned out and turning but it fell apart on me from age I guess.  I also had issues with the hoses.

Mike (dishwashercrazy) has it now and I hope with all the parts he has he'll get it going.  On mine the timer worked as did the motor, fill valve and drain valve so I don't think it will be a huge deal to get it going again but who knows.  It was fun to play with and listen to the timer click away as it turned.

How odd!  That's exactly what had happened to my YK standalone - the pump was full of some kind of powdery stuff and was seized up solid.   Jetcone (Jon) managed to get the impeller shaft freed up for me; it's still a little rough, but it should work now.

Speaking of dishwashercrazy (Mike), I think he'd be interested in that set of racks!
