This auction looks like quite a find. Original parts for a top loading Youngstown dishwasher. They claim to have had little use and look good in the pictures. If you are restoring one of these this could be the auction for you.

Mike (dishwashercrazy) has it now and I hope with all the parts he has he'll get it going. On mine the timer worked as did the motor, fill valve and drain valve so I don't think it will be a huge deal to get it going again but who knows. It was fun to play with and listen to the timer click away as it turned. |

How odd! That's exactly what had happened to my YK standalone - the pump was full of some kind of powdery stuff and was seized up solid. Jetcone (Jon) managed to get the impeller shaft freed up for me; it's still a little rough, but it should work now.
Speaking of dishwashercrazy (Mike), I think he'd be interested in that set of racks! |
