 Gee, that brings back memories. When I was growing up, we had a portable, round GE dishwasher--maybe the same as that one. I was probably 4--6 years old, and already I was interested in kitchen appliances. The top was painted, not porcelain, and when it got hot during use, the paint could easily be scratched off. Using the dishwasher was a lot of trouble since it had to be connected to the faucet (and that part was not good) and there was a switch that had to be moved, probably from wash to drain, and eventually my mother ditched it. I would love to see another, though, and I haven't. | ||

Up date
Ok after doing some homework I found the place that has this dishwasher seeing that no one messaged me back. I called them and the lady that handles the online sales is not in today (go figure) the gentleman I talked to said that they would not hold it for me and dint know how to do a card over the phone but took my name and number. He also said that “there has been a lot of interest in it surprisingly.”

Am sad yet another member missed out...
But to be fair persons who list things on CL by and large one finds run the gamut.
Some are willing to work with non-local interests others simply will deal with anyone who shows up money in hand first. To be fair that is the purpose of CL which is why many go that route instead of fleaPay. When it comes to estate sales, CL and other such things that old adage about that early bird and his breakfast often is true. When you consider the almost give away asking price that DW was not going to hang around long, especially after being noted here in the group. | ||
