1-18 detergent dispenser

The instruction manual of some 1-18 washers with a pre-wash option said you could use the fabric softener dispenser as a liquid detergent dispenser for the main wash. Otherwise the only dispensers available were the bleach dispenser and the fabric softener dispenser. The centre of the jetcone could be used as a powder detergent dispenser if you pour the powder below the bleach dispenser or if you don't use the bleach dispenser. I never cared doing that but I did use the fabric softener dispenser to dispense liquid detergent when I used the pre-wash option.

Checkrate/Likes *1-18 Detergent Dispensers ?* I don't think that 1-18s ever had a detergent dispenser, the thing in the agitator was a bleach and dye dispenser, it was not intended for detergent.

Checkrate/Likes 2 *Thank you Phil* always the go to guy for Frigidaire! I do use the jetcone for detergent powder dispensing. It gets the cleaning power right to the clothes "under water" !! No nonsense floating around the top for hours with dual action agitators.

Checkrate/Likes my aunt would use the bleach dispenser to dispense powder Clorox 2! It worked!
