Hi, I had the same problem with my Hotpoint 9560. I found that a boil wash or two allowed the door seal to form a better seal against the door. Give it a go. James | ||

I have this same problem on my Computer control and have tried 2 different door seals now. Apparently I am reliably informed that this is not an unusual problem for these machines. I did think that my door might have warped or buckled a bit but it seems ok.
I tried tucking in a rolled up piece of cloth in the seal itself to help push it tight against the glass bowl which stopped the leaking but is not really a permanent solution. I have left it in place in the seal in the hope that when it is next used it will form a better seal with the door. Perhaps a couple of hot washes with this in place would do the trick. S :) | ||

If its a door seal with no clothes nubs at the top and the same all the way round you could loosen it and turn it round then tighten up but first I would gently use fine sandpaper to roughen it up just on the lip area, found its worked a few times for me!!!
Also make sure the door glass is free from any limescale, that can cause small drips as well!!

Fixed...hopefully Thanks for the advice guys. Ran a boil wash then a 60 degrees wash. No leaks. Maybe the heat softens the rubber and slightly reshapes...
