Hi
Looking for somehelp please? ?

Ive changed the brushes on the motor of the machine above, as it had been working normally till they failed.

The motor now works fine, but im getting an E04 error code.

It is draining and spinning.

This now seams to of cleared but it keeps repeating its cycle
It says 42 mins left then changes to 1 hour 2 mins.

Happens on all cycles

Ive not changed anything other than the brushes.

TIA for any help.

First, it would be nice to know exactly which model you own. Differentmodels have different typical flaws.

Next, what does the washer do in the added time? It should be rinsing in that time. Does it add an extra rinse? Will it just keep going until you intercept it? Or what exactly?

Really just guessing: The washer could sense an oversuds\sudslock condition due to the motor pulling more current during a spin than it should.
This could be caused by wrong type of brushes, wrong installed brushes or, if the previous brushes ran way to low or the motor was damaged anyway, a worn motor it self.

Sorry
Wvt12840gb/04
Its not saying whats its doing, as its only time info in display
It just carried on and on and on.
It wont stop till intervention
Could it be incorrect brushes, the shape of the brushes where the wrong way, but the shop said they would ware down?

Sorry if I sounded rude. Was a bit in a hurry.

If it there is no end to the cycle without you acting, I can't really help you either.
The most obvious would be the PCB to have malfunctioned, but that is just to expensive to replace to make a guess on that.

My advise would be to just check every connection, make sure everything is nice and tidy.
