I'm closing in on a deal to buy a Norge Timeline washer (my best guess is that it's a 55 or 56) and if I pull this off, I'd like to get it sooner rather than late 'cause you never what the weather will be like up here.

Is it possible to move one of these washers on it's side or back? I'd like to try and get it in the Suzuki hatchback (it'll fit one machine but only one...).

I've managed to not wreck a 57 Hotpoint, the unrestored 57 GE, and the 65 Maytag transporting them in the Suzuki...

Yes, should be fine. I've had mine on its side for a few days while working on it and nothing was the worse for it. Let me know if yours needs a new tub boot and I'll give you the Volkswagen u-joint boot # :-)

Forget the Suzuki Hatchback...

Just bring PhilR along with his Toyota.  That way you can bring back 3 machines.

And I'll cook. Accommodations may be provided by The King of Queens Arms in Melrose.  LOLOLOLOL

I brought my '56 Timeline home back in 1997 on it's side in my Jeep Cherokee, so I think you'll be fine Paul.
