Only posting to remind anyone, sometimes, free can be ...very good. I didn't see anything interesting to post for washers and dryers.

This is a higher end unit, with touch controls (colored circles), I believe. Too bad the rest of the unit isn't pictured.

Console T.V. (New Phila. OH) - this is very similar to my parent's unit - but it was a Zenith. Same legs, style, etc, in walnut.

ad: " This is not a flat-screen TV, it has a CRT tube. It supports NTSC (3.58). NTSC (4.43), PAL and SECAM. Ideal for viewing foreign video tapes and DVDs. Works on 110V, 127V, 220V or 240V, 50/60Hz current. This is a working TV. Operating guide included.
This is a fairly heavy TV, so you might want to bring a friend to help you carry it. I have a bad back and cannot help. " CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK on Washington DC Craigslist

Sick. Scrap? There are people with zilch appreciation for these pieces- or enough appreciation to hang tough and wait for someone to take it. But I realise, I[m not the owner and everything is in their court. Sad, hope it doesn't go to the scrapper;it's way wrong and stupid ...to scrap this 1957 beauty.
