Email sent!

Just sent an email and will call in the morning. Would be a great machine to get and the price is right. Would have to find the dryer next.

That is a Gold Crown model, made for large dealers to sell with slightly different features and trim at a slightly lower price. Because you can't find the same model at just any store, customers could not price shop these models easily.

Gold Crown - a name that begs for cleaning.

Tom, how do you spot these details?

Congrats! That's a WN7, it had the Rapidry 1000 spin and separate controls for the wash and rinse temperature which allows any selection you like!

I have one in Avocado.

They came in Avocado, Coppertone, White and what other colors, PhilR?

I have zilch in Frigidaire washers or dryers, but I get alot of mileage viewing

others goodies.

I have a question...

hippiedoll's profile picture
So would this Frigidaire be a solid tub washer?

Post# 857097 , Reply# 15   12/17/2015 at 13:34 (3,051 days old) by bajaespuma (Connecticut)
I love these tumblers

bajaespuma's profile picture

HippieDoll-Yes this is a solid-tub

Phil-The pictures below should answer the question although I'm not sure what year(s) "Honey Beige" was a color choice except for 1966

Phil, they were also available in Harvest Gold.

Christina, yes it's a solid tub. This is also a time-filled model (some 1966 and later models were pressure-filled).

It looks like Ken had already replied when I did!

Honey beige was a 1966 color. It was not available on all models as it was exclusive to some TOL models.

are so cool - thanks Ken!

I've never seen those before - promotional glasses way back when?

Is that Mayfair Pink?

Thanks Ken for the drinkable color charts.

Honey beige is like Toast from the 80s.

It'd be cool to have dishware like this for everyday use.

There was also a Frigidaire glass that displayed just 3 colors: White, Avocado and Colonial Copper. Harvest Gold was introduced a bit later than the other earth-tone colors.
