Ah... The Cement Mixer Model.

I think some say on the door "Whisper Clean". Or "Crystal Clear Rinse".

I always laugh at the Whisper Models.

And yet still a much better machine than the horrible Krusty-the-Clown-Shoe wash arm, "celery" and "avocado" Plastisol GE "Potscrubbers" of the same period. Those machines, IMO, were worse than the D&M machines that y'all hate.

Word. The dishwasher I loathed most was one of those BOL celery-interiored turbine pump GE units. Every D&M machine I've had has handily outperformed it.

I must agree with Nate. A friend's early 70s D&M Norge with the full width wash arm under the upper rack washed very well when the heated wash option was selected because it extended the wash time by 20 minutes. It also had very flexible loading with things getting clean everywhere, even above big pots in the lower rack.
