Maybe all the grime has been protecting the cabinet finish all these years...  LOL

I'd love to find one of these 30-inch Youngstown dishwashers one of these days - I am amazed that they still turn up every now and then.

A liquid cleaner, Spray9 you may find at Home Depot is what I discovered by accident that get the crud off everything leaving a squeaky clean finish behind. I use it every day and it also kills up to 99.9% of viruses in only fifteen seconds but has no bad or strong aroma. It turned a 1960 FRIGIDAIRE Dishmobile from a dull dark green to a gorgeous true turquoise instantly. Almost scary to see the decades of neglectin a tobacco smoking environment streaking down in dark brown stripes as soon as the spray hit.the porcelain finish. I'm looking at the dishwasher. I wonder if it's one of their Thirty inch rarities????
The one I've seen is a thirty inch and has a similar tubular wash system as the Frigidaire dishwashers.of the same period.

The owners manauls being present makes me wonder if the Lady passed away and a widower lived there for many a year.  Lots of grunge but a nice old kitchen. Well used and worn, not so much the total destruction you often see in a rental.  Art
