So I had the chance today to put a leaf blower to the dryer vent. Some lint came out of the pipe from the roof but not a lot. I also re-positioned the vent hose from the dryer and I think that was the main problem. I washed a load of sheets and used the automatic setting. They were dry in about 40 minutes. These are queen sized sheets and are fairly thick. Its a great improvement over the 70 minutes it took last time. Plus I noticed the timer doesn't advance as fast plus the heating element comes on regularly as it should. This was on the high temp setting. I now have a medium sized load of clothes in there now. Automatic control on permanent press temp. I'll let you know how it turns out but I'm thinking she now runs as she's supposed to. Now all she'll need soon are new pulleys and rollers as they are squeaking more and more. But, I'm much happier with her performance and it wouldn't have been possible without all of the great advice you all contributed. Thank you so much!
