Finally,

I got to replace the oem 19 year old top rack in the Ultra-Wash.

This guy on Ebay was good, he told me he was aware of part changes over the years,...and promised me that this indeed was the top for mine, only in blue, not white.

And, he was correct...makes 4 bought, and using 2...1 top correct, and one bottom with no rollers...it slides perfect on the plastic tub slides.

Perhaps you can see in the pic of the oem white one...just was falling apart.

I am one happy camper now...I did not want another dishwasher; however the bad part is over the 3 years I passed up 4 or 5 Kenmore Ultra Wash machines because they were 50 to 100 used...not again...will buy one for parts at that price.

This basket was roughly $90 with shipping,...beats the heck out of $250 for brand new.

Just Sharing laughing

I guess I got a super deal when I found a TOL Ultra Wash on CL for the kids when they bought their first house a few years ago.  It was pristine and cost me a whopping $30.  Still doing a fine job for them.  These are the same ones who had the heating issue with their SQ dryer and let it run all night, so one can only imagine what the Ultra Wash has been subjected to.

You did indeed>>

I bought 2 of these from Sears in the fall of 96; one for my mother (pictured) and one for my home.

They were listed @ 399.00; and were on sale for 289.00.

Mine burnt with my home; this one above has had nothing except the upper arm support (pic on the old white rack).

I don't remember anything but a few times everything hasn't come out spotless; odd fork with cheese, etc.

I even use it to do my burner pans, oven racks,...with a bunch more Cascade; probably what wore the nylon off the racks.

I would say they should have good luck, even the broken tines won't enter the pump area due to its design.
