Those are just pins and will pull out with needle nose pliers. | ||

That cup comes as an assembly....you can't buy the gaskets that go inside the trip levers. Part # is 9740171. Hope this helps! | ||

I too had a similar problem with my KA(KUDS220T4). The prewash compartment would not freely open and close. I simply filled the main wash compartment, closed it and then put detergent in the prewash(which would dump directly into the tub upon closing the door). When the serviceman came to repair my Maytag Neptune(remember all those recalls with the washer not spinning and the replacement of the board and wax motor----Don't get me started on that one again!), I asked him to take a look at my KA dishwasher detergent cup. When he took off the front panel, he too discovered that is was 'gummed up', probably from a brief time of using liquid detergent. He simply cleaned that junk out and VIOLA~!.......the dispenser was working like brand new. And there was no charge for that service either! I will definitely use that repairman again should anything else in my home need attentive prompt service. Gary P.S. Make the torrential rain go away here in CT. | ||
