The main washer costs $1500, the "sidekick" module in the base costs an additional $750.

Speaking like the old man that I am, just looking at that thing makes my back hurt.

Window? For what?

Not sure why they bothered to put a window on the top of that thing. It wont operate unless the drawer is closed. And are you supposed to leave it pulled out so it can dry after use? Sheesh!

It's meant to be for "nuisance" items. Kinda like the old "mini wash" from the GE Filter Flo.

Waah, no teeny tiny dryer under the regular dryer for the nuisance loads?

It seems kind of pointless doesn't it?

Yeah, unless the little one still works when the main one quits. Otherwise it's just an expensive trip hazard.

These are all over the Sunday paper ads this week.  Prices as low as $620 at some retailers here.

I saw one for the first time last week at Lowes and am impressed with the engineering.  It's uses are certainly limited, the capacity is obviously very small, but I still want one and will be watching for one in the scratch & dent room.  I don't have an LG front load washer but I can probably figure out how to bolt my Maytag onto it :-)

I never liked LG washers but i have to admit this little thing is useless but really cool.

Darryl, let's put one of those in our wedding list?

Wondered when I'd see a thread on this gimmick. I ran across one last week at the Homer Depot

Here are a couple photos

The only good thought I had is having a tub that is only 8" deep might actually let that impeller really move things about!

If that feature was in a vintage machine everybody here would be dying to get there hands on one.
Shoot, a little trim on a fridge or lights on a washer and some here have an orgasm.
Face it, it is frickin' cool! May or may not be useful, but damn what beats that for kick-ass appliance gimmickry?

And you old guys, cut out the gluten, do some yoga, and there won't be a washing machine on the planet you fear..
